 Domenica Pugliese born in Moliterno (Potenza) in 1956. Daughter of Luigi a painter and sculptor of wood in the region Basilicata. After living a long time in Germany, she returned to Italy to establish herself in Rome, where she improves her artistic capacity of painting portraits, nudes and landscapes with oils. She studied art while travelling the world, trying to express with her paintings not only the characteristics of foreign places but also the different faces of other cultures and traditions. The artist was impressed the most by the Arabian, Indian and South-american- worlds. For a long time she belonged to the groups of painters of "The Artist Movement Tor San Michele" , The Artist Movement La Fenice" Ostia Lido of Rome and "Work Progress Via Margutta" Roma. She partecipated in many Art Shows and Cultural Meeting. Winning a lot of prizes, getting recognition and approved by the critics.
Her works in painting collections art galleries of a lot of cities around Italy, many cities around Germany, Africa, U.S.A. and Europe and in the Church of Nativity in Betlehem ( painted on a silk cushion ).
